When do you get paid?

Once you've sold an item, the idea is, of course, to send it to the buyer. After the buyer has received the package and accepted the items received, the money will be deposited into your Poshmark account within three days of the delivery of the package. After this, you can withdraw the money through a direct deposit to your bank account, Venmo, PayPal, Instant Transfer or by requesting a cheque. How long it takes for the money to reach your account after the pay-out depends on the payment method you chose and the bank you are affiliated with.

How does a pay-out via Poshmark continue?

It may sound easy when we say that you can 'just transfer your money to your bank-account', but it’s still useful if you know how to do this exactly. That's why we've put together a step-by-step guide just for you, so you are as good informed as possible about how to get the money from your Poshmark account to your own bank account.

Step 1.Wait until the delivery is approved

After sending a parcel, you will have to be patient. The buyer will of course have to receive the parcel first and then they also have the opportunity to accept or return the items. When the buyer accepts the items, the delivery is approved. The same applies if it takes longer than three days for the buyer to accept the delivery or return the item. In this case, the delivery is automatically approved. After this, the money is available to you. You will be able be find it in your Poshmark account.

Step 2. Cash in your money

When the money is available, you can cash it in the Poshmark app. You can do this by requesting a cheque for the money you are owed. You can also choose to deposit the money directly into your bank account. If you choose this, you need to do the following:

-       Open the Poshmark app and go to your user profile. This can be found at the bottom right of the screen.

-       Go to the profile icon and click on it. This will take you to your profile settings.

-       Click on the money icon. It can be found at the top right of the screen. Here you will find information about the money available for deposit, ways to request the money and any previous redemptions.

-       Decide whether you prefer to request a cheque or have the money paid directly into your bank account.
